Tim Lesko, Principal, joined Granite Investment Advisors (GIA) in 1998. Tim received his BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University in 1991. He started his career with the S.D. Warren Company in Detroit, and later spent three years in institutional sales in New York City with Merrill Lynch and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities. Tim is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and the NH Antiquarian Society Finance Committee.

Mike Timm, Vice President, Portfolio Manager. Mike received his BA from Yale University and his MBA from Dartmouth College, the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. Primarily responsible for managing client portfolios and relationships, Mike brings more than 30 years of investment, business, and educational experience to the firm. He has 14 years experience in the financial services industry, including Fixed Income Sales and Trading at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and credit analysis for the National Lending Department at Mellon Bank. Additionally Mike was co-owner of the Illinois Code Company and Principal of the Lodestone Group. Most recently Mike has distinguished himself in the educational community. He is a former President and member of the Board of Trustees of the Hopkinton Library Foundation, and a former member of The Williston Northampton School Board of trustees.
